Mizoram assembly pays tribute to Lalnunzira

Aizawl, Mar 23  Mizoram assembly today paid tribute to former legislator V Lalnunzira who died on December 26 due to complicated diabetes. Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla, who made obituary references said that Lalnunzira was 65 years old and is survived by his wife, three sons and two daughters. Lalnunzira was nominated as a legislator in the nominated seat of the 30-member assembly in 1979 by People Conference party then led by the former chief minister Brig T Sailo. Belonging to Bru community, he was nominated in the assembly to represent the minority community. One minute silence was observed by the assembly after the obituary reference and condolence speech by three other members.
