Three cadres of little-known Bru militant outfit  National Liberation 
Army  have laid down arms before Mizoram police at Mamit district in 
western Mizoram.       Police sources said the three rebels surrendered 
their arms in a simple ceremony to Superintendent of Police, Mamit 
Sangawia at Kanhmun near Tripura border yesterday.        The 
surrendered arms included a G-4 rifle with one magazine and 15 rounds of
 ammunition and one miniature rifle.       Sources said the National 
Liberation Army was said to be formed in Agartala a few years back and 
it currently has 32 members who got training in North Cachar Hills in 
Assam.        The outfit has an armoury of two AK-47 rifles, one SLR 
rifle, one M-16 rifle and other small arms, sources added.
