Joint meeting of CONFU Nagaland and AMFU Mizoram

Dimapur, Sep 8 : The representative of the Confederation of Naga Farmers’ union and the all Mizoram Farmers Union held a joint meeting on September 6 at Kohima where various problem faced by the farmers of the northeast region was discussed thoroughly. The two organizations resolved to work for formation of a Farmers’ Federation comprising the entire states of the Northeast Region to work for the interest of the Northeast Farmers’ through a common platform. The next meeting has been fixed to be held at Aizwal where delegates from other Northeast states also will be invited.
The representatives of CONFU are Lanukaba-President; Rokobikho Savino-Secretary; Rheichatuo-Joint Secretary; Pusazo Luoro-Treasurer; T.Imchen, T.Khongo and Dr.I Longri-Advisor. The representatives of AMFU are Joseph.H.Thanzuala-Vice-President; Zion Lazremruata-General Secretary; R.Laltluanga-Treasure.
