Mizoram assembly passes two private members resolutions

Aizawl, July 10 (PTI) Mizoram assembly unanimously passed two private members' resolutions moved by ruling Congress members R Selthuama and K Lianzuala on the second day of the monsoon session today. The first resolution, moved by Selthuama urged the state government to ensure that inland water transport be improved in the state so that the inland water transport be more useful for the people. Another private resolution moved by K Lianzuala hailed the state police department for the recent rescue of two executives of the Assam-based road construction company, the Anupam Bricks and Concrete Industries Limited.
