Aizawl, June 24 (PTI) Monsoon session of the Mizoram Assembly, convened by Governor Lt. General M.M. Lakhera, would commence from July 7-27.Sources in the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) of the assembly, chaired by Speaker R. Romawia, said Finance Minister H. Liansailova would present the budget on July 14. The interim budget was presented in the assembly by Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla, who also held the finance portfolio in March last and sought the vote-on-accounts for the first four months of the current fiscal.This was due to the fact that the Planning Commission was yet to fix the state annual plan outlay for 2011-2012 at that time. Agriculture Minister Liansailova was allotted the Finance portfolio in a minor reshuffle of the portfolios of the council of ministers recently.
