Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla, who also holds the Finance portfolio, presented the second supplementary demand and the vote-on-account yesterday along with the interim Budget amounting to Rs 3,911.08 crore.
Lal Thanhawla, while presenting the interim Budget, said that late fixation of the State annual plan outlay by the Planning Commission did not allow him to present a regular Budget during the current Budget session.
In his Budget speech, he made several proposals of upward revision of the rates of taxes and non-tax revenues.
The current budget session, which commenced on March 22 was adjourned sine die by Speaker R Romawia this afternoon.
