" There is no plan to engage ULFA in talks," Union Home Minister P Chidambaram told a press conference here.
His remarks reflect the government&aposs toughness towards the militant outfit which has been continuously engaged in subversive activities, including serial blasts on October 30 and January one.
On January one, Chidambaram, in a visit to Assam, had said security forces would deal"decisively"with banned outfits in the north east which threaten peace and integrity of India but felt talks could be held with ULFA if it gave up sovereignty demand.
