Teachers Evaluation by the students is a new strategy introduced by the University Grant Commission (UGC) to upgrade the teachers skills in the higher education in India which was vehemently opposed by the teachers organisations all over the country as they believed it a measures to surender their rights to the students. Due to the strong opposition of the teachers the UGC made this moved to be a voluntary base. In western and eastern countries this already used in higher eduaction. But, the teachers who opposed it did not any research base.So an indepth studies on the attitude if the teachers at college level is conducted on more than 20 colleges all over Mizoram to find out the opinion of the teachers on some important areas in relates to SET.
