Home Minister R Lalzirliana informed the assembly that around round 20 to 25 people armed with AK-47 rifles raided the camp of Anupam Bricks and Concrete Industries at Lungei district on Sunday night and kidnapped the workers.
The ultras took away Rs 2 lakh in cash from the ABCI officials before fleeing into the jungle, the minister said. Police have launched search operations to secure the release of the abducted persons.
