Aizawl, Oct 10 (PTI) An 11-year-old boy was killed after
he was attacked by a swarm of bees in a jungle near Lungmuat
village in north Mizoram on Saturday, delayed police reports
reaching here today said.
The reports said that Lalhmunmawia's friends threw
stones at a beehive and the bees attacked him as he stood
nearest to the tree housing the beehive.
He died on the spot and was accorded a funeral at
Lungmuat village yesterday.
At least three persons have been killed in Mizoram after
being attacked by bees during this year.
