Aizawl, Sep 29 (PTI) Fake job cards under the NREGS
have been detected in four Mizoram districts with Aizawl
district alone accounting for 695 fake cards. An official statement by the Aizawl administration said
695 fake job cards under the NREGS were detected following
which they were cancelled. The fake job cards bore names who could not be
identified, the statement said. The fake cards were detected in over five rural
development blocks of Aizawl district with Tlangnuam block
having the highest number of fake cards at 302. Meanwhile, fake job cards were also found in other
districts including Serchhip, Kolasib and Champhai.
