Sources from Raj Bhavan here said the Governor underwent a coronary artery bypass graft surgery at Narayana Hrudalaya Hospital in Kolkata at 0800 hours. He was operated won by renowned cardiologist Dr Devi Shetty.
He was wheeled out of the operation Threatre under stable condition. He is now put in the intensive treatment unit. He was likely to return to Aizawl following a check-up after a week, the source said.
