Diplomats of S E Asian countries to visit Mizoram

Aizawl : Ambassadors and High Commissioners from eight South East Asian countries are scheduled to visit Mizoram during September 21 and 23 to look into possibilities of trade, official sources said here today.

Diplomats of Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam would arrive at Lengpui airport and visit Indo-Myanmar border trade centre of Zokhawthar.

The diplomats would be accompanied by S C Sharma, joint secretary in the DoNER Ministry and meet the governor, chief minister and top officials during their visit, the sources added.
