Gorkha students submit memo

 BONGAIGAON,Feb 16– The three-hour sit-in demonstration by the All Assam Gorkha Students’ Union (AAGSU) against killing of Bhanu Bhakta Nepal ended peacefully on Thursday. The demonstration began from 11 am in the morning in front of Chirang D.C Office at Kajalgaon where more than 100 men,women and youths gathered. In the demonstration leading persons of Gorkha community spoke about their demands of security and other problem.

Mentionably Gorkha women also spoke against atrocities perpetrated by evil forces on their community in BTAD area. After shouting slogans against the Government and in demand of detection and punishment of Bhanu Bhakta’s killer, the student organisation sent a memorandum to the Chief Minister through Chirang ADC Binod Deka.
